Mistral for Life

This year we decided not to send out any Christmas cards and to skip Christmas presents. This action yielded a hefty 5000 euro. Half of this amount was donated to Music For Life. On Monday 21st December part of the Mistral team went to Ghent to hand over the check in person. It goes without saying we did not want this event to go by unnoticed! From 21st until 24th December the Belgian Radio station ‘Studio Brussel’ organized the 4th edition of Music for Life: an awareness - and fundraising campaign to support a good cause dovetailing with the activities of the International Red Cross. This year’s good cause is the battle against malaria in Burundi.
The other half of the money is used to support BiJeVa, a Belgian foundation that organizes carefree holidays for deprived children. Photos will be published on our website in the beginning of 2010.
